To earn rewards each monthly qualification cycle, you must meet the following qualifications:
Have at least 12 debit card transactions post and clear
Access Home Banking (online banking)
Have at least one direct deposit post and clear
Qualification Cycle Dates:
Each of the United Rewards checking qualifications must be met during the monthly qualification cycle. Transactions must post and clear during these dates in order for members to receive a higher rate of interest and any ATM fee reimbursements. Transactions may take one or more business days from the transaction date to post to an account from the date the transaction is made.
The qualification cycle ends on the last business day of each month.
*3.00% Annual Percentage Yield (APY) paid on balances between one penny to $10,000 each monthly qualification cycle the minimum requirements are met. When requirements are met, an interest rate of 0.25% will be paid only for that portion of your average daily balance that is greater than $10,000. The annual percentage yield for this tier will range from 3.00% to .05%, depending on the balance in this account. If you do not meet the requirements each qualification cycle, your account will still function as a free checking account earning a base rate of 0.05% APY; however, you will not receive ATM refunds for that time period. Rates effective as of October 1, 2013. We may change the interest rate and APY at any time after the account is opened. No Minimum Balance Required. Available to Personal Accounts only. If you believe that you have not been reimbursed the correct amount, please contact us. We must hear from you no later than 30 days after the statement cycle where the reimbursement was applicable.
